2011 Cowboy Joe Golf Series Schedule
The Cowboy Joe Club has announced the schedule for the 2011 Cowboy Joe Golf Series which features 16 tournaments held throughout Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona. Coming off a record breaking year in 2010, the Cowboy Joe Club is excited to visit fans, alumni and friends in each community and is looking forward to continued support through the golf series. The 16th Annual Cowboy Joe Golf Series tees off Saturday, March 19th in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona at McCormick Ranch Golf Club. After an eight-week reprieve, the Cowboy Joe Golf Series will head to thirteen different communities in Wyoming, beginning May 13th in Riverton and ending August 6th in Laramie. The 16th Annual Golf Series will also feature two tournaments in Colorado May 16th in Denver and June 13th in Ft. Collins. The 2011 series, which is open to the public, male or female and golfers of all abilities, will feature Wyoming coaches and staff, lunch/dinner, Nike Golf entry gift, and prizes. Entry fees range from $100 per person to $250 per person, depending on each individual tournament. A four-person scramble format will be used at each tournament, and the winning foursome will be invited to play in the 2011 Golf Series Championship the first week of September in Laramie. The 2011 Golf Series Championship team will receive an all-expense paid trip to San Diego and $1,000 cash. All tournaments will feature Nike Golf apparel and Nike Golf equipment. Local presenting tournament sponsorships and hole sponsorships are available. This is a great opportunity for you and your business to show your support of Wyoming Athletics. Sponsorships range from $100 to $2,500 and may feature hole signage, newspaper advertising, radio advertising, complimentary entry fees and gifts. All proceeds from the 2011 Cowboy Joe Golf Series go directly to the scholarship and educational resources for more than 400 University of Wyoming student-athletes.
