With the upcoming 2011 football season, Hamilton will have been with the Wyoming Athletics Department for seven years. He began as UW's athletics ticket manager in the fall of 2005, and was promoted to his current position four years ago. He is responsible for event management for all 17 sports, and coordinates outside events such as the Wyoming State High School Football Championships held at UW Athletics facilities, and various Mountain West conference championships. He serves on the Athletics Department Master Planning Committee. Prior to joining UW, he worked for Paciolan, Inc., as the liaison to the Baltimore Orioles and as an assistant ticket manager at Wake Forest University. A proud native of Baltimore, M.D., he earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1995 from Messiah College in Pennsylvania, where he played lacrosse. He received his Master's in Sports Management from the University of Tennessee in 2000. He is a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan, and a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan. Hamilton and his wife, Jen, have three children, Julia, Kendall and Xavier. |
