Greetings from Cowboy football and the Rochelle Athletic Complex! I want to personally congratulate you on becoming a Cowboy and welcome you to the University of Wyoming. You need to know that the Cowboy veterans have been working extremely hard in the 2009 winter training program since January 12! The winter program is focused on getting everyone stronger, improving team speed, power and explosiveness and establishing a physical and mental toughness. This winter program is our Winning Edge. Everyone - whether on campus or not - must give their best effort EVERYDAY as we prepare to play national powers Utah, Brigham Young, Texas, Colorado and TCU among others this year. This website gives you every lifting warm up, agility, and plyometric drill in video or picture format. Being technically sound at all of our lifts and movements is critical! Whenever possible, use a coach to assist you during workouts. You will also find extremely important nutrition information to help fine tune your training, aid in your recovery between workouts and build muscle while burning body fat. The website is constantly changing, check back often for new information. If you have questions regarding this material, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me. You can also refer to the DVD that was mailed to you or check our "general training info" link on this site. Again, congratulations on your decision to become a Cowboy and a champion. Think big, work hard and GO POKES! Sincerely,
Trent Greener, MS, CSCS, USAW
