Sophomore: (2010-11)-Atoe saw limited action in her first season as a Cowgirl, but competed very well when she made it into the pool. She recorded two separate first-place finishes during the season in the 100 freestyle and as a member of the 400 medley relay team. She placed first in the 100 free against Mesa State with a time of 54.67. She helped the 400 medley relay team to a first-place finish against New Mexico with a time of 3:58.69. She earned her first Academic All-MW award with her first letter as a Cowgirl. Nebraska:Freshman: (2009-10)- Atoe swam at the University of Nebraska prior to coming to UW. She swam the sprint freestyle and the backstroke events for the Huskers. High School: Atoe was the team captain of Rock Canyon High School in Lompoc, Calif. She was a member of the 2009 state champion team, and was named All-American in the 200 individual medley and the 400 free. Personal: Atoe was born on April 2, 1991. She is the daughter of Laune Atoe. She is majoring in communication at Wyoming. Top Times: 50 freestyle-24.35; 100 freestyle-54.40; 200 freestyle-2:00.98; 100 backstroke-58.49; 200 back-2:07.97. |
