Assistant swimming coach Jane Bartee is entering her sixth year at the University of Wyoming. Bartee, who hails from Australia, brings her extensive experience and success both in the pool and in the classroom to the Wyoming Swimming and Diving program.

In her time at Wyoming, Bartee has hepled both the Cowboys and Cowgirls become contenders in the Mountain West Conference as well as gain a national and world wide exposure as a top notch NCAA swimming and diving program.

Prior to coming to UW, Bartee was the head coach of the Tuscaloosa Swim Club in Tuscaloosa, Ala. for two years. She was also a graduate assistant coach at the University of Alabama where she earned her Master's degree in higher education administration.

Bartee had an exceptional collegiate career at the University of Nebraska. She was a seven-time NCAA All-American from 1993-95, and was the Big 8 champion in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke all three years. She has also held Top 20 world rankings from the World Coaches Swimming Association. She competed for the Australian National Team at the 1995 Pan Pacific Championships, and was also a three-time Academic All-American at Nebraska from 1994-96.

Bartee and her husband, Todd, have a daughter, Lucy.
