Patrick Bukowski will be entering his second season at the University of Wyoming as the head diving coach. Bukowski joined the UW diving program from St. Bonaventure University, in St. Bonaventure, N.Y., where he served as the head diving coach for the past two seasons. While at St. Bonaventure, Bukowski coached five Atlantic 10 Conference Diving Finalists, as well as, numerous divers of the week during his two seasons. Also while coaching at St. Bonaventure, he helped lead all of his divers to top 12 finishes at the 2009 and 2010 A-10 Diving Championships. Throughout his two years he has compiled an impressive record of 16 individual event wins, 10 diving event sweeps, and finalists in three of four diving events at the A-10 championships. While at St. Bonaventure University, Bukowski was also the head diving coach at the Southern Tier Diving Club in St. Bonaventure, N.Y. He reestablished the club program as a top age group diving program in Western New York. While at Southern Tier he coached first, third, and fourth-place finishers at the Cattaraugus/Chautauqua County Diving Championships. Prior to his stint in St. Bonaventure, Bukowski was the varsity diving coach at a State College, Pa., Area High School from 2007 to 2008, where he led them to a district championship. Bukowski graduated from Penn State University in 2008, where he was a four-year lettermen, and starter for the varsity diving team. |
