She also was apart of the 800 Free Relay team that placed fourth at the 2008 MWC Championships, and set the UW record for that event. She also placed second in the 400 IM, and fourth in the 200 Breaststroke. She won her first letter at UW as well. Oregon State: Evans transfers to Wyoming from Oregon State University where she completed her freshman year of eligibility during the 2006-07 season. As a freshman at OSU, she placed 11th in the 200 breaststroke and 12th in the 400 IM at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships, turning in NCAA "B" cuts in each event. She led the Oregon State freshman class with 11 dual wins. High School: At Fort Collins High School, she was an All-American all four years of her career. She was the 2003 Colorado 5A State Champion in the 100 breaststroke and set the Colorado 5A State Record in the event, a record that still stands.
