At Wyoming:
Junior- Gregory proved to be one of the best sprint freestyle swimmers in school history by posting the second best time in school history in the 50 freestyle. He also holds the fifth fastest time at Wyoming in the 100 freestyle. Both of his record setting times came at the 2009 MWC Championships. Gregory finished seventh in the 50 freestyle and ninth in the 100 freestyle. He was also played a key role for the Pokes in relays. Gregory and his teammates set the fastest times in school history in both the 200 medley and freestyle relays. Gregory's success from the pool was also seen in the classroom. He was named Academic All-Conference and was also awarded the MWC Scholar Athlete Award.
Sophomore- At the 2008 MWC Championships, Gregory helped the Cowboys in two relay events and in the sprint freestyles. He and his teammates finished fourth in the 200 medley relay in which he led off. He also helped the Cowboys swim to a fourth place finish in the 200 free relay. Gregory finished seventh in the 50 free which set the fourth fastest time in UW history with a time of 20.68. He also had two 13th place finishes in the 100 and 200 free. He earned his second letter, and was named to the Academic All-Conference team, along with being named an MWC Scholar Athlete.
Freshman- Gregory contributed greatly to the Cowboy sprint freestyle events as a freshman. At the 2007 MWC Championships, he placed 15th in the 100 freestyle and swam on both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays. He was an Academic All-MWC selection and earned his first letter award.

High School: As a senior, Gregory was named the Metro Conference Swimmer of the Year. That season, he was the Nebraska State Champion in the 100 freestyle and placed second in the state in the 50 freestyle. He finished just ahead of fellow UW freshman Sam Holmes in the 100. He was a conference champion in the 100 and 200 freestyles. As a junior, he won the Nebraska state title in the 50 freestyle and placed second in the 100 freestyle. As a sophomore, he was a member of the state champion 200 freestyle relay team and was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle. As a freshman, he helped lead Papillion-LaVista High School to the Nebraska state team championship. Individually, he placed second in the state in the 400 freestyle relay. He was a team captain as a junior and senior. He was a great student and was a four-year honor roll member. He was a Metro Conference All-Academic as a junior and senior and received the Academic Excellence Award as a junior and senior. He was the editor in chief of his high school newspaper.

Personal: He was born on July 24, 1988 in Indianapolis, Ind. He is the son of Susan and Bruce and has two sisters Elizabeth and Christina. He is majoring in social studies education.
