At Wyoming:
Junior- Hansen made big contributions to the UW distance freestyle events throughout the season. At the 2006 MWC Championships she competed in the 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 200 backstroke. She continued to excel in the classroom and was named both a MWC Scholar Athlete and Academic All-MWC for the third consecutive year. She earned her third letter award at Wyoming.
Sophomore- Hansen earned Second Team All-MWC honors in the 1650 freestyle after placing eighth in the event at the 2005 MWC Championships. She swam the fifth fastest 1000 and 1650 freestyles during the season. She earned her second letter award after competing in every meet as a sophomore. She excelled in the classroom and was a MWC Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Conference honoree for the second consecutive year.
Freshman- She was a member of the school record setting 800 freestyle relay team that finished sixth at the 2004 MWC Championships. She also placed 15th in the 1650 freestyle, 16th in the 200 backstroke and 22nd in the 500 freestyle.

High School: A four year letterwinner in swimming at Valhalla High School. She was named to the Union Tribune All-Academic team in 2001-02 and was a member of the Grossmont Conference championship team in 2000 and 2001.

Personal: She was born October 22, 1984 in San Diego, Calif. She is the daughter of Hans Hansen and Dawn Scialabba. She is majoring in elementary education.

Top Times: 200 back- 2:09.38; 500 free- 5:08.30; 1000 free- 10:34.03; 1650 free- 17:36.36.
