At Wyoming:
Junior- Hartigan had a solid season for the Cowgirls in the pool as well as in the classroom. Hartigan moved into the top-ten in school history in the 200 IM. A time she set at the 2009 MWC Championships. She also placed 14th at conference in the 200 breaststroke. During the season, Hartigan swam in relays for the Cowgirls and added important points with a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke against New Mexico and third in the same event against Denver. Both were dual meet wins for Wyoming. Hartigan earned her third career letter award. In the classroom, she excelled by earning Academic All-Conference and the MWC Scholar Athlete Award.
Sophomore- Hartigan helped the Cowgirls by improving in the breaststroke and the 200 IM. Hartigan also had an excellent season in the classroom, earning Academic All Conference, and Scholar Athlete Award. At the 2008 MWC Championships she took part in the 200 IM and 200 breaststroke. She earned her first career UW letter award.
Freshman- As a freshman, Hartigan had a very solid season and added a great deal of depth to the Cowgirl line-up and especially the breaststroke events. She swam the third fastest 100 and 200 breaststroke on the Cowgirl roster during the season. She had a great year academically and was an MWC Scholar Athlete and an Academic All-MWC selection.

High School: Hartigan was a Wyoming All-State and All-Conference swimmer all four years of her high school career. She was the Wyoming State Champion in the 100 breaststroke all four years of her career. She is the Central High School record holder in the 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay. She was an All-American in the 200 freestyle relay and received All-America consideration in the 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay. Central won the Wyoming State Championship in 2003 and 2004 and won the SWAC Championship all four years of her career. She holds the SWAC record in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM. She was coached in high school by Wyoming Hall of Fame swimmer Mark Miller. She was a member of the 4.0 Honor Roll, the National Honors Society and was the Senior Class President.

Personal: She was born on October 13, 1987 in Orange, Calif. She is the daughter of Joseph and Kelly and has two younger siblings, Morgan and Christian. She is majoring in elementary education.
