At Wyoming:
Sophomore- In his first season as a Cowboy, Henehan wrote his name in the UW record books and became one of the best distance freestyle and IM swimmers in the Mountain West Conference. At the conference championships, Henehan swam to a third place finish in the 400 IM, 11th in the 1650 freestyle, and 12th in the 500 freestyle. Henehan's 400 IM time at conference was the fifth fastest in school history. He earned First Team All-Conference in the 400 IM and his first letter award at UW.

Prior to Wyoming: Henehan, a native of Pakuranga, New Zealand, transferred to the University of Wyoming from Auckland University. Henehan is a distance specialist who will compete in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle events and possibly even the 400 IM. He competed in the 400 and 1500-meter freestyles at New Zealand's Olympic Trials.

Personal: He was born on October 8, 1987 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is the son of Anne and Terry Henehan and has two older brothers Daryl and Andrew. He is majoring in kinesiology and health at Wyoming.
