Freshman- In her first year at UW, Hudak helped the Cowgirls in sprint, middle distance, and long distance freestyle races, as well as in the 100 and 200 backstroke. She had the fifth fastest time on the Cowgirl roster in the 500 and 100 backstroke. Hudak also helped UW in the backstroke events. Both of her top times in the 100 and 200 backstroke came at the Husky Invite in Seattle, Wash. High School: As a senior captain, Hudak led Riverview High School to the Florida 3A State Championship and was a state finalist in the 200 freestyle. She was a YMCA National Qualifier from 2004-07 and lettered every year of high school in swimming. She was selected as an Academic All-American in 2005, was a National Honor Society member and a member of the honor roll throughout high school. Personal: She was born on Nov. 6, 1988 in Sarasota, Fla. She is the daughter of Debbie and Mark and has an older sister named Courtney. She is majoring in nursing.
