At Wyoming:
Sophomore- Johnson showed his talents for the Cowboys in the sprint freestyle events, along with relay teams. At the 2009 MWC Championships, Johnson and his teammates swam the fifth fastest time in the 200 freestyle relay. Johnson earned First Team All-MWC in that event. He also earned his first letter award and was named Academic All-Conference for the second consecutive year.
Freshman- In his freshman season, Johnson helped greatly in the freestyle events. He had the fifth fastest time on the Cowboy roster in the 50 free, and sixth in the 100 free. He had a great season academically by being named to the MWC All-Conference team, and earning the Scholar Athlete Award.

High School: A five time Idaho State Champion, Johnson brings a very impressive swimming resume to Wyoming. He won the Idaho State Championship in the 100 freestyle in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and also won the 200 freestyle in 2005 and 2006. For his accomplishments, he was named the North Idaho Swimmer of the Year twice. He is the Idaho state record holder in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay. He was a team captain his senior year and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: He was born on Sept. 1, 1989 in Long Beach, Calif. He is the son of Debra and Brian and has four siblings, Debrianne, Aubrey, Kirby and Reid. He is undecided on a college major.

Top Times at Wyoming: 50 free-21.04; 100 free-46.07; 200 free-1:40.06.
