He placed 12th in the 400 individual medley and 11th in the 200 fly. LeValley not only swam well in the 200 fly at the conference championships, but also during the regular season, placing second three times. LeValley also had an excellent two semesters in school, earning his second consecutive Academic All-MW and Scholar Athlete awards. He earned his second letter award at UW. Freshman: (2009-10)- LeValley competed well for the Cowboys as a part of the 400 relay team. Individually, LeValley swam his way to a top-five finish at the Mountain West Championships in the 400 individual medley, his time of 4:01.14 was good enough to put him in fifth place at the championships. He also placed 15th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.44. High School: LeValley had a great senior year of high school by winning the Washington State Championship in the 200 IM. He was also named the team captain his senior year and earned All-Conference. LeValley held high school records in the 200 IM, 100 backstroke, 500 freestyle, and 200 medley relay. He earned the high-point award and most inspirational three times at his high school. LeValley was selected Scholastic All-America in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He was a National Honor Society member and earned numerous local academic awards. Personal: He was born Sept. 5, 1990 in Appleton, Wis. He is the son of Debra and Randall LeValley and has two younger siblings Bryton and Jewel. He is majoring in chemical engineering at UW.
