Virginia Marcon Class: Junior Hometown: Spring, Texas High School: Klein Height: 5-5 Event: Diving Experience: 1L

At Wyoming:
Sophomore- Marcon sat out her sophomore season due to an injury.
Freshman- In her freshman season, Marcon competed at the 2008 MWC Championships and earned Academic All Conference. She was fifth on the Cowgirl roster in the one-meter, and fourth in the three- meter. At the Conference Championships, Marcon finished 17th in one-meter and 19th in platform. She earned her first letter award as a Cowgirl.

High School: Marcon was an All-American both in the pool and in the classroom. She earned diving All-America honors her junior and senior years and Academic All-America honors as a senior. She was named the district diver of the year as a senior and placed at the district meet all four years of her high school career. She also placed at the regional meet as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was also a gymnast and competed in the sport until high school. She dove club for the Woodlands Diving Academy.

Personal: She was born on June 28, 1989 in Lake Charles, Calif. She is the daughter of Angela and Michael and has a sister, Shana, and a brother, Mathew. She is majoring in geology.

Top Marks at Wyoming: one meter (6 dives)- 245.02; three meter (6 dives)- 254.24; platform (5 dives)- 163.90.
