High School: Mikulski joins the Cowgirls from Cypress Falls High School and CY-Fair (the Fleet) Swim Club in Houston, Texas. Mikulski swam two years of high school before joining CY-Fair Swim Club to compete year around. She was a swimming sectional finalist from 2009 to 2011. She also qualified for the NCSA in 2010-11. She not only excelled in the pool, but also in the classroom. She earned distinguished honor roll four years of high school and graduated National Honor Society. Personal: Mikulski was born in Vista, Calif., on July 12, 1993. She is the daughter of Bruce and Gayla and has a younger brother, Nathan. She is planning to major in chemical engineering while at UW.
