Murdock played a huge role in Wyoming having the most diving points at the 2008 MWC Championships. He won second place in the three meter, fourth in the platform, and fifth in the one meter. Murdock took part in the NCAA Zone "E" Championships placing 15th in the three meter, and 21st in one meter dives. Murdock led the way for the Cowboys with a 14th place finish on platform. High School: Murdock is both an accomplished diver and gymnast and competed in the US National gymnastics meet in the spring of 2007. In the pool, he was a district champion and the district diver of the year as a junior and senior. He was also a region champion as a senior and placed third at regionals as a junior. He received an NISCA All-America Award and was a TISCA All-State diver as a junior. He was the Marcus High School most valuable diver all four years of his career. He placed third at the district meet as a freshman and sophomore. He was a member of the National Art Honor Society. He dove club for Grapevine Colleyville. Personal: He was born on June 7, 1989 in Grapevine, Texas. He is the son of Julie and Rob and has two brothers, Michael and Matthew. He is undecided on a college major.
