Freshman: Rigg had an immediate impact for the Cowboys last season. He competed in the IM, butterfly, breast stroke, and was on the 200 free relay team. That team finished fourth at the 2008 MWC Championships in which he anchored. Rigg also had an 11th place finish in the 100 fly, and 16th in the 200 fly. He earned his first letter award and was named MWC Academic All Conference. High School: Rigg set the Fairview High School record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 51.16, an All-America time standard. He was a four-year letterwinner in swimming. He graduated from FHS with honors. Personal: He was born on Feb. 17, 1988 in San Diego, Calif. He is the son of Laura and John and has a brother, Scott, and a sister, Lauren.
