Cowgirl Swimmers And Divers Ready For Mountain West Championships

The Cowgirls Return Three Individual All-MW Performers And Three All-MW Relay Squads

Freshman: (2010-11)- Robinson had a very productive freshman season for the Cowgirls competing well at the Mountain West Championships, and especially during the regular season. She placed 18th in the 1650 freestyle at the conference championships with a time of 17.16.45, which was the fourth-fastest 1650 free time of the year for the Cowgirls. During the regular season is where Robinson shined in the distance freestyle. She placed in the top two of the 500 and 1000 free three times in each event. She recorded first-place finishes in the 500 free against Mesa State and Northern Colorado and took second against UNLV. In the 1000 free, she placed first twice against Air Force and Mesa State, as well as placing second against Northern Colorado. In her freshman season she earned her first Cowgirl letter award.

High School: Robinson accumulated many awards while in high school including Montana Swimming Sportsman of the Year. She was also named All-State six times and the most inspirational swimmer of her high school team her senior year. Robinson was named team captain her junior and senior years. Her sophomore and junior years, she was named most valuable swimmer.

Personal: Robinson was born on Jan. 16, 1992 in Billings, Mont. She is the daughter of Brian and Diana Robinson, and has three siblings, Caleb, Kirby and Major. She is majoring in family and consumer sciences while at UW.
