Competing at the Mountain West Championships, his best finish came on the platform where he placed 12th with a score of 204.40. He placed 15th on the 1-meter springboard and 16th on the 3-meter at the conference championships. He earned his third consecutive Academic All-MW award and Cowboy letter award. Sophomore: (2009-10)- Schwarz proved to be an excellent young diver for the Cowboys with top-15 finishes at the MW championships. He placed 12th on the platform with a score of 226.80. He took 14th on both the 1- and 3-meter springboards with scores of 272.50 and 256.00, respectively. Freshman: (2008-09)- Schwarz made an immediate impact as a freshman for the Cowboy diving team. At the 2009 MW Championships, Schwarz placed 11th on platform, and 12th on both 1- and 3-meter springboard. Schwarz earned his first letter award as a Cowboy and also was named MW Academic All-Conference. High School: Schwarz competed at AAU nationals in high school. He placed 14th on three-meter in 2007 and sixth at one-meter in 2006. Personal: He was born on June, 5, 1990 in Geneva, Switzerland.
