High School: Tejada comes to the University of Wyoming from Dhahran Academy High School in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She had an excellent career competing at the national level in Saudi Arabia. She set 17-18 age group records in the 25 freestyle, 25, 50, 100 and 200 butterfly, and the 200 individual medley. She was named All-City, All-Conference, All-Region and All-State all four years of high school. She helped lead her team to city and conference championships as well as placing in the top 10 at the state tournament. She excelled in the classroom as well, graduating National Honors Society and Academic All-Conference. Personal: Tejada was born on April 11, 1993 in Quezon City, Philippines. She is the daughter of Roland and Rosemarie. She has two siblings, Reham and Rayan. She plans to major in psychology while at Wyoming.
