High School: Turner had an excellent summer of competition posting an Olympic Trial cut time in the 200 IM (2:06.02) at Senior Nationals in August 2011. He was named all-county first team his junior and senior years. Turner still holds his high school records in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke as well as a member of the 400 freestyle relay record-holding team. He excelled in the classroom, being named Academic All-America his senior year. Personal: Turner was born Oct. 21, 1992 in Houston, Texas. He is the son of Syl and Suzanne.
