At Wyoming:
Freshman- Wells made an immediate impact for the Cowgirls as a freshman individually and in relays. At the 2009 MWC Championships, Wells placed 13th in the 200 IM and 200 backstroke. She also added a 16th place finish in the 100 backstroke. Her times she posted at conference also wrote her name in the UW record books. She now owns the second fastest time in school history in the 100 backstroke and the third fastest in the 200 backstroke. Her 200 IM time at the conference championships were the fifth fastest in UW history, and she also is apart of the best time in school history in the 800 freestyle. She also competed over the summer at the 2009 US Open. Wells earned Academic All-Conference as well as the Scholar Athlete award.

Highschool:At Crescent Valley High School, Wells helped lead her team to back to back state championship titles her junior and senior year. She set the state record in the 100 back as a junior and set team records that event as well as the 200 free and 200 medley relays. As a sophomore her and her teammates set the state record in the 4x100 relay too. She was a member of National Honor Society and a 3 time Scholastic and Academic All-American.

Personal: She was born on March 10, 1990 in Newport, Rhode Island. She is the daughter of Victoria and Dennis and has four siblines, Trahern, Meredith, Allison, and Charlotte. She is majoring in exercise and sports science.

Top Times at UW: 100 back-56.82; 200 back-2:01.62; 200 IM-2:05.64; 100 free-54.19.
