The UW women qualified all four divers for the semifinals on the 1-meter however none of them made the finals. O'Connell was one place away from advancing to the finals with a ninth-place finish in the semifinals on the 1-meter (208.80). "I was pretty pleased with the way things went for us," said UW diving coach Jason Baumann. "I was very happy with our effort and focus. I would have liked to see us dive a little more consistently as we moved on from the prelims to the semifinals and finals, but that will come with time. "This was a good meet for us to work on some new things which will help
us to get better as the season goes on." Baumann said.
