COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Wyoming freshman Ethan Maclean and Air Force sophomore Brady Lindberg have been named Mountain West Conference men's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

Maclean, a Green River, Wyo., native, won the 100-yard backstroke (51.30) and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:33.00) as the Cowboys bested UNLV in a dual meet (156-75) on January 18. His time in the 100 back broke a 20-year-old Corbett Pool record, set by Hawai'i's Gary Hurring (1984). UW's time in the 200-medley relay also established a new pool record.

Lindberg, a product of San Antonio, Texas, swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events against UNLV on January 17. In the 1-meter, he posted a score of 267.68, and his score of 262.35 topped the field in the 3-meter.
