TJ's Take: These are quotes from head coach Tom Johnson about the conference dual meets against Air Force (men and women) and New Mexico (women) this past weekend at Colorado Springs, Colo.

Women- "We were very fortunate to pick up both victories on the women's side. We had to leave our two of our top swimmers at home because they were ill so that left us shorthanded, but the rest of the team stepped it up and we were able to get by both Air Force and New Mexico today in a meet that shouldn't have been as close as it ended up."

Men- "The men were shorthanded as well today, but that's no excuse for why we didn't swim better today. We still need to learn how to get more focused for meets like this on the road. The Air Force men were really up for this one since we beat them last year in Laramie."
