LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming diving coach Jason Baumann announced today the signing of Adam Miller to a letter of intent to attend Wyoming in the fall of 2001. Miller, from Newcastle, Wyo., is a two-time Wyoming 3A State Champion on the one-meter springboard and is also Newcastle High's school record holder on the one-meter. Last summer he qualified for the U.S. Junior Zone Diving Championships in both the one and three-meter events.

"Adam has accomplished numerous things in his high school career," said Baumann. "He's put the extra effort in to make trips to train in Gillette with their diving coach because he hasn't had one in Newcastle to work with. He's also taken the time to travel to summer diving camps at Indiana University which shows how serious he is about improving. With a more focused training schedule and the ability to train year round the sky is the limit for Adam."
