Amanda was crowned the 2009 Mountain West Conference champion in the 20-pound weight throw during indoor season. During the outdoor season, she just missed qualifying for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in the discus throw. At the end of the 2009 season, she was ranked 10th in the indoor 20-pound weight throw, 10th in the outdoor discus throw and 13th in the outdoor hammer throw all-time in Wyoming history.
