Had a stellar season last year by earning her way to the NCAA outdoor track and field championships in the 1500-meters. Tanice placed fifth at the Midwest Regionals to earn her birth to nationals. This year Tanice only has her cross country eligibility left but should go out with a bang as one of the Cowgirls' top runners.

A transfer from Black Hills State, she was an NAIA All-American in 2002.

UW's top runner in the 800 meters (2:10.39) and 1,500 meters (4:28) during the '04 outdoor season. Placed second at the MWC Outdoor meet in the 800 meters. Earned All-MWC honors both indoor and outdoor seasons and qualified for the NCAA Regional meet.

In 2003 she recorded the best Cowgirl time in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:34.69 and placed eighth in the event at the conference outdoor meet. She also performed well in the 800 meter run, turning in a season best time of 2:12.90.
