2007-08... Allie lettered during the indoor season as she qualified for the finals in the 400-meter race at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo. In the finals she ran a 58.35 and placed eighth overall for the Cowgirls. She ran her personal best in the 400-meter race here in Laramie at the Robert Shine Invitational where she won the event and ran a time of 57.43. During the outdoor season she red-shirted. 2006-07... As a freshman for the Cowgirls, Allie placed second in the Outdoor 200m race in Fort Collins, March 24th. At the Wyoming Invite, Allie finished in fifth with a time of 57.60 in the 400m. Childers was awarded with the MWC Scholar Athlete Award as well as being selected to the Academic All-Conference team. High School... She was a two-time All-State and All-Conference selection in volleyball and track and field for the Mustangs. Personal... Allie was born Nov. 8th, 1987 in Casper, Wyo. Childers is the daughter of Todd and Becky and is majoring in criminal justice.
