2007-08... Eliud joined the UW track and field team mid-season and helped add depth to the already strong distance squad. During the outdoor season, Eliud set his personal best in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.27, and a second place at the Victor Lopez Classic, in Houston Texas.

High School... At Kalyet High School, Eliud received an individual honor for the 1,500 meter event.

Personal... Eliud was born on Nov. 17th, 1986 in Eldoret, Kenya. He is the son of Mary and John Chirchir. Eliud enjoys playing volleyball, watching movies and making friends.
