The highlight of Cress' season was her performance at the MWC Outdoor Championships, in which she finished eighth in the javelin throw. She earned her first letter last season, and earned Academic All-Mountain West and Scholar-Athlete honors. 2009-10... Cress was the top javelin thrower for the Cowgirls last season, but added the multi-events to her repertoire. Though just a freshman in 2009, Cress was the team's top javelin thrower.
