An 11-time Wyoming State High School Champion for Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Hopper established herself as one of the elite track and field athletes in the State of Wyoming from 2000-03. At Wyoming, she earned All- American honors as a part of the Cowgirls record breaking relay squad that ran a time of (3:30.68) which placed them eighth nationally in 2004. Hopper also earned All-MWC honors in the 200, 400, and was a part of the conference champion 4x400-meter relay team that same year. After missing last season due to medical reasons, look for Amanda to be at the NCAA Championships again as she tries for a repeated All-American performance.
