2009-10... When it comes to jumping events, Jeremiah is among the nation's best. In fact, it's almost a surprise when he doesn't win. He added two more MWC crowns to his collection last season, winning the long jump and triple jump at the MWC Championships. He was an NCAA qualifier in the triple jump, taking 14th with a leap of 50 feet, 4 ½ inches. He also was third at the MWC Championships in the high jump, and hit a personal-best mark of 6-9. Though just a junior, he already has cemented his place as one of Wyoming's all-time greats. 2008-09... Jeremiah once again was crowned the MWC champ in both the long jump and triple jump for both the indoor season and outdoor season, bringing his total to seven in his career. He was a regional qualifier during the outdoor season in both the long jump and triple jump. He only competed in the triple jump and placed 13th at the meet. During the indoor MWC Championships, Jeremiah came away with his second High Point Award after scoring 20 individual points for the 'Pokes. 2007-08... Jeremiah had one of the most productive seasons for the men's track and field team as he was crowned the conference champion in the long jump during the indoor and outdoor Mountain West Conference Championships. He also was named to the All-MWC team twice. During the indoor season, he owned the best long jump in the conference and had the third-best triple jump and fifth-best high jump. While at the MWC Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., he won the long jump, placed third in the high jump and fourth in the triple jump. For his accomplishments, he won the High Point Award with 21 points scored for the Cowboys. Jeremiah had just as productive outdoor season with his number one ranked long jump in the conference, fourth best high jump, and sixth best triple jump. While at the MWC Championships, he again was the best at the meet in the long jump and was the fifth-best in the triple jump. He was a regional qualifier in the long jump and finished the regional in eighth place. Jeremiah was also voted as the Newcomer of the Year by his teammates and coaches for the men's track and field team. High School... In high school, Jeremiah was named basketball player of the year, along with being named track athlete of the year. He won sportsman of the year as well. Personal... Jeremiah is the son of Sharon James and David Hall. Jeremiah is majoring in bioengineering and chose Wyoming because of its coaching staff and academic background.
