2007-08... James had one of the most productive seasons for the men's track and field team as he was crowned the conference champion in the long jump during the indoor and outdoor Mountain West Conference Championships as well as being named to the All-MWC team twice. During the indoor season he owned the best long jump in the conference as well as the third best triple jump and fifth best high jump. While at the MWC Championships in Colorado Springs, Colo., he won the long jump, placed third in the high jump and fourth in the triple jump. For his accomplishments, he won the High Point Award with his 21 points scored for the Cowboys. James had just as productive outdoor season with his number one ranked long jump in the conference, fourth best high jump, and sixth best triple jump. While at the MWC Championships he again was the best at the meet in the long jump, and was the fifth best in the triple jump. He was a regional qualifier in the long jump and finished the regional in eighth place. Jeremiah was also voted as the Newcomer of the Year by his teammates and coaches for the men's track and field team.

High School... In High School, Jeremiah was named basketball player of the year, along with being named track athlete of the year. He was also awarded with the schools sportsman of the year.

Personal... Jeremiah is the son of Sharon James and David Hall. Jeremiah intends to major in bioengineering and chose Wyoming because of its outstanding coaching staff and excellent academic background.
