Kelly hopes to improve from last year and looks to breakout big time this season as a senior. Finished fifth in the 400-meters at the MWC Outdoor Championships last season. At the MWC Outdoor Championships in 2004, he placed seventh in the 400 meters. Kelly was also part of the 4x400 relay team that finished second at the MWC Outdoor Championships that year. At Marshall University he earned All-Conference honors in the Mid-American Conference.
