Klimowski improved steadily as the year progressed, and soon became a dependable mid-distance contributor for the Cowgirls. Her best finish of the season came at the Fum McGraw Invite, in which she was second in the 800. She also finished ninth in the 1500 at the MWC Outdoor Championships. She also earned Academic All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete honors. High School... Klimowski came to Wyoming from Flagstaff, Ariz., where she was the 1A state champion in the 800-, 1,600-, and 3,200-meter races. She also was the runner-up in the state 1A/2A Cross Country Championships. She was a team captain multiple times, in addition to earning numerous academic honors, including National Honor Society participation and Student Council. Personal...
