Leonce came away with six first-place finishes in the indoor and outdoor seasons, along with four personal records with one at the outdoor MWC Championships in the 200-meter dash. He competed in six different events this year, four of them being sprints and the other two in jumping. During the indoor season's MW Championships, he finished 12th in the 60-meter run and fourth in the long jump. He also competed in the outdoor MWC Championships, finishing fifth in the 200-meter run and eighth in the long jump. 2009-10... Leonce's athleticism showed from the beginning of his college career. As a freshman, he had the longest long jump on the team during the indoor track season. His leap of 24 feet, 6 1/4 inches set the bar for the Pokes. He captured the MWC Outdoor long jump championship as a freashman and ran in the 100-meter dash and the 60-meter dash in both indoor and outdoor track. High School... Leonce was the team captain for his high school team from 2006-08 and in 2007 and was the Carifta U17 Champion in the jumps.
