Emily Moore

2010-11... Moore came into her own in her first year of competition for the Cowgirls, establishing herself as the top jumper on the team. She competed in 13 events throughout the indoor and outdoor season, and finished in the top four 11 times. She scored in the triple jump at both the indoor and outdoor MWC Championships, finishing eighth at both events. She also tried her hand in the 100-meter dash and the javelin, and should be quite adept at multi events with a year under her belt.

2009-10... Moore transferred to Wyoming from the University of Iowa. She will compete in multi events and jumps for the Cowgirls.

High School... Moore had one of the most distinguished prep athletic careers in Wyoming state history. A 15-time state champion, she won four titles in the long jump, 100- and 200-meter dashes and three titles in triple jump. For her efforts, she was a two-time Wyoming Gatorade Track and Field Athlete of the Year, and won the 2009 Milward Simpson Female Athlete of the Year. She also was a stellar athlete in basketball and golf, earning multiple all-conference and all-state honors. She holds multiple state/school records in track, and also went to the Nike Outdoor National meet for long and triple jump. In addition, she was a McDonald's All-American and the conference player of the year in basketball her senior year.

Personal... Moore was born to Bob and Janet Moore. She plans to study chemical engineering.
