2008-09... An outdoor Regional Qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles after her seventh-place finish at the Mountain West Conference Championships. She currently owns the sixth-fastest 100-meter hurdle time in Cowgirl history. She earned her third straight Academic All-Conference award for her hard work in the classroom. 2007-08... Jennifer made some huge strides for the Cowgirls during the '07-08 season as she ran a season best in the 55-meter hurdles here in Laramie at the Robert Shine Invite, with a converted time of 8.63. During the outdoor season she again ran a season best time in the 100-meter hurdles here in Laramie at the First Annual Front Range Invite with a time of 14.18. While at the MWC Championships she just missed running in the finals in the 100-meter hurdles with her time of 14.35 and a 10th place finish. For her accomplishments in the classroom she was named to the Academic All-Conference team during the spring. 2006-07... As a member of the team her freshman year, Jennifer looks to improve on a 10th place finish at the outdoor MWC Championships in the 100-meter hurdles. For her excellence in the classroom, Jennifer was honored with an Academic All-Conference award. High School... Jennifer was a four-year letterman in volleyball and track, along with lettering twice in basketball. She was the State Champ all-four years in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles in `05, and the 4x100m relay in `06. She was selected All-State all-four years in track and once for volleyball. Personal... Jennifer was born Jan. 30, in Scottsbluff, Neb. She has one older brother, Danny, and her parents are Patty and Doug Schmitz.
