Sullivan had an excellent high school career, including two Wyoming state 3A titles in the high jump, as well as a fifth-place finish at the prestigious Simplot Games in the 60-meter hurdles. He showed versatility during his high school career, including duty at the 300-meter hurdles, as well as the 4-by-400-meter relay. The UW coaches project him to be a key contributor in the heptathlon and decathlon, as well as the high jump and hurdles.
