Swigart was a contributor in cross country and both track seasons. She ran in six events during the cross country season, posting a season-best finish in the Woody Greeno Invite. She finished 47th to help the Cowgirls finish fourth overall. She finished 45th in the Mountain West Championships. Her contributions to the track team included a ninth-place performance in the 1,500-meter run at the Potts Invite, and a 14th-place finish at the CU Invite in the 3,000. Swigart was honored for her work in the classroom with a Scholar-Athlete award from the Mountain West. High School... Swigart was a state qualifier in the 800-meter run and also in cross country, where she was a first-team All-Southern Lake Conference selection. She also was named the Racine County Girls Runner of the Year by the coaches in the county. Her best time in the 4K is 15:48, and in the 3,200-meter run, she has hit the 11:32 mark. Personal...
