2010-11... Talkington proved once again he is one of UW's best jumpers, finishing in the top 10 on 16 occasions. During the indoor season, Talkington tied his personal record in the high jump at 6-4 at the Shine Invite. He also competed in the MW Championships in the triple jump, taking seventh place. During the outdoor season, Talkington competed in all three jumping events and competed in the MW Championships in the long and triple jump. At the championships he finished 12th in the long jump and eighth in the triple jump.

2009-10... Talkington was one of UW's best all-around jumpers last season as a freshman, contributing some solid finishes for the team in the indoor and outdoor season. He was third on the team in high jump (6 feet, 3 1/4 inches), sixth in long jump (21-11 3/4) and third in triple jump (45-10 1/2). He finished ninth at the MWC Championships in triple jump, hitting a mark of 46-10. He finished second in two meets throughout the year, once in high jump at the Wyoming Power Meet and once in triple jump at the TCU Invite.

High School... While at Banner County High School, Talkington lettered all four years in track and football, while earning two letters in basketball. In track and field, he was a four-year state qualifier and placed at state three times. He finished second in the triple jump twice and second in the long jump once. Academically, he was on the honor roll for three years and was the vice president of the student council.

Personal... Talkington was born in Scottsbluff, Neb. He is the son of Sue and Gary Talkington and has three brothers: Kole, Christopher and Eric.
