2007-08... Shawn was a finalist in both the 35lb weight throw and shot put during the 2008 indoor Mountain West Conference Championships. He was a mid-year transfer from Central Arizona Community College and competed very well for the Pokes in the weight throw for the first time in his early career as a thrower.
