Zans was a key cog in the Cowboy distance crew. During the indoor season, he recorded two all-time best marks and finished top 10 three out of the five races in which he ran. Zans also added three personal records during the outdoor season, all good for top 10 finishes. He competed in two races at the outdoor MWC Championships and both were personal bests, as well as top 10 finishes. He was chosen as the Cowboys' newcomer of the year by the coaching staff. High School... Zans won two titles at the 2010 Wyoming State Indoor Championships in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races. He also competed in the nationally renowned Simplot Games, where he finished third overall and was the top Wyoming finalist in the 3,200-meter event. Personal...
