Gretchen Fagley Class: Sophomore Hometown: Sheridan, Wyo. High School: Sheridan Height: 5-6 Events: Cross Country/Distance

Gretchen had a great freshman season last year. She placed 25th at the MWC Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:28. Fagley was at least a top four finisher in every race for Wyoming during the '04 XC season. She also placed seventh in the 10,000-meters at the MWC Outdoor T&F Championships to score points for the Cowgirls. Fagley will look to be in the mix as one of the top runners for the Cowgirls.

As a prep athlete she was team captain for Sheridan High School, named all-state and placed 3rd at the Wyoming HS XC meet her senior year. She earned similar honors in track competition. Majoring in secondary education.
