Lauren Furtney
	Class: Sophomore Hometown: Cheyenne, Wyo. High School: Central

Lauren showed good signs of ability in her first collegiate campaign. She has put in the work this summer that will allow her to continue to improve and make an impact for the team this season. Her efforts will be right in the mix come championship race time.

Lauren is the younger sister of former Cowgirl Meredith Furtney. Lauren enjoyed a very successful high school career at Central High School. She earned All-State and All-Conference honors in both cross country and track. She also earned Academic All-State honors by maintaining a 4.0 G.P.A. during high school.
