Grace Shearrer Class: Sophomore Hometown: Denver, Colo. High School: Englewood Event: Distance

2007-08... As a member of the cross country team last season she competed at the Wyoming Invitational and placed 19th in the 4k with her time of 16:19.9. For her accomplishments in the classroom, Grace was awarded with the Scholar Athlete Award during the cross country season.

High School... Grace was a four sport athlete in high school: cross country, track, soccer and basketball. She was a two-time All-Conference selection in cross country and an All-State member in 2006.

Personal... Grace is the daughter of Lisa and Mike Shearrer and was born Dec. 4th, 1988 in Denver, Colo. Grace chose UW because of its size, distance from home and academics.
