Thompson is the only senior on the cross country roster in '04. Jeremy is another middle-distance runner for the Pokes who uses the cross country season to train. The UW coaching staff looks for Thompson to have a good season in 2004-05. Placed 39th (28:54) at the 2003 MWC XC Championships. Ran the 800 meters (1:53.81) and 1,500 meters (4:06.79) during the '04 outdoor season. He competed very well in the 800 meters in '03 turning in a season best performance of 1:54.04 at the MWC Outdoor meet, placing eighth.
