2010-11... West did not compete in any events last season.

High School... West will provide the distance team with depth and was a multiple state finalist in Missouri. She has a personal best in the 5k race of 19:17, and will continue to improve with experience at the collegiate level. She was a perennial all-conference and all-metro performer in Kansas City in track and cross country, but also found success in swimming. Academically, she shined as a National Honor Society member and held positions in student government.

Personal... Dannika was born Feb. 17 in Kansas City, Mo. She is the daughter of John and Carolyn West. She plans to study kinesiology.
