The Fall 2003 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team consisted of 317 student-athletes from the sports of football, volleyball, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country that maintained at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, completed at least one academic semester at the member institution, and are a significant contributor on the teams in which they compete.

BYU placed a conference-high 56 student-athletes on the Academic All-MWC team, followed by New Mexico (48), Utah (47), Wyoming (45), Air Force and UNLV (36 each), Colorado State (30), and San Diego State (19).
